RBanner is JavaScript banner/image rotator that generates one or multiple static or cycling image sequences, suitable for the sequential display of different advertising banners. Cycling displays are configurable for timing. An optional 'Random' mode provides shuffling of the display order on startup. Where cookie support is enabled, Random mode ensures that the initial banner displayed will be different between consecutive reloads. This feature is perhaps better appreciated in static displays. Each banner image navigates to a selected URL and displays custom tooltip text.

Cycling displays are paused whenever a banner is hovered by the mouse cursor.

Preserves aspect ratios of varying size images.

This script is equally suitable for automated free-running picture slideshows.
